Yo, how's it going? Back at it. This transfer has been exhausting. I'm so tired all the time! I need a teddy bear or something. But the work is great!

We had interviews with the President, and those are always amazing. I've talked to him probably a total of 40 minutes my whole mission so far. But I guess he trusts me or something—or thinks I smell. He also said I'm going to have another transfer here in Madera, which means I'd be here for about a quarter of my mission. I like it here, though.

It was nice to see my family come to California for a week and "couldn't see me." I'm glad they had a good time, though. It's hot here in the Central Valley, so I don't blame them.

It's been nice to see myself grow out here. Back at home, I just handled problems so much differently. But every day, there is different stuff going on out here, and it's nice to see how quickly the Lord is willing to help if we lean on Him. I feel like I've been in tune with the Spirit really well and have been able to bless others' lives because of it.

The other day, I felt the clearest impression to go to a certain neighborhood, but we couldn't because we had a lesson. The lesson canceled, and we went to the neighborhood I felt we needed to go to and met some amazing people. We were able to get to know these people and schedule return lessons. It's quite crazy to see the Lord use me as an instrument.

When I tried to think of what I wanted to share with y'all, nothing really came to my mind except love, or charity—the pure love of Jesus Christ.

Moroni 7:45

And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

I like how it says, "not easily provoked." Not only is charity something that we give to others and offer to God and His children, but it's also how we choose to react and respond. I'm quite far from being a charitable person, but I will say I'm a little bit different. I truly love these people out here. It's hard to take a sigh of relief for our enemies and love them as Jesus Christ would, but it's something that's asked of us.

"Charity defines a peacemaker."
"Charity is the antidote to contention." —President Nelson

Pray for the gift of charity every day.

I was definitely baby-fed my first two transfers, but I'm always eager to learn and grow.

"I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them."

The Lord doesn't give us anything in this life that we cannot accomplish through Jesus Christ.

Alright, enough words. I reached my word count and can now turn in my paper. Love y'all! Till next week...
