Transfer News, Also I'm At One Year Tomorrow Sigma

Yeah you heard it right. I'm almost at a year! Wow, it feels so long and short. So many memes missed, but so many lives changed. So much hunting missed, but so many blessings in store. I miss my iPhone and family, but I was missing Jesus back then too. The sacrifice has been such a worthy investment so far! I feel like I've found so much fulfillment in my mission in just one year. I'm so happy to have another 365 days of this. It's kind of hard to sum it up into words and make it not sound cliché. I still have a lot of room for growth, but that's okay.

My week was pretty good this week. We got our friend Aaron on date for baptism! It was so hype. YSA this week was pretty fun. The vibe on campus was weird though. There was a lot of public preaching (there's nothing wrong with that), just an environment I wasn't used to. It's so weird being a missionary around people your age. I don't know why they sent me here, I have way too much rizz.

Other than that, I don't have tons more to say. I just want to say it's been a blessing to bless someone else every day. That's what it's about. Not everyone I talk to goes to church, or wants to grow closer to Jesus Christ, but at least for that day their lives were blessed because I shared a message. I think all of us can think of something someone said or did that really impacted us. It's harder to trace how we've impacted others though. But I've learned that no effort is wasted to be kind. I actually rarely see fruit for my labor, but that's not my job to count. I'm just here to serve the Lord. I often ask myself, "How can I bless someone today?" I invite you to ask yourself the same thing each day. The Lord will show you who needs your help, and even if He doesn't directly show, just go for it anyways. I love all of y’all and I'm thankful to dedicate a year of my life to the Lord. Best decision I've ever made. Hardest decision too, especially since it's a daily decision.

It's ya boy Chips Ahoy, and I wish y'all a Merry Christmas! I hope everyone's been doing well and you're finding a way this year to make Christmas centered on Jesus Christ. This week has been very good! We've had lots of service opportunities! We got to help a member paint his house as well as set up some stuff in a lash studio. Hey everyone, I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I apologize for not sending an email last week, but here I am. These past few weeks have just been different than the rest of my mission (in a good way). I've been out for about 9 months now! I'm halfway done with a sister mission! Jkjk This Christmas season has been quite remarkable, and I can't remember a time in my life so focused on Jesus Christ, especially on His humble birth. I feel the Spirit every time I read and ponder on His beloved coming into this world. On Christmas, we actually didn't have any plans besides some that morning, so we got with other elders and went caroling for about 4 hours and saw tons and tons of members and friends. Anywho, sorry if this email isn't my best work. This week was good down here in Exeter! This week was fun because we talked to lots of people! However, it's so hard for some reason to find people to teach. People will talk to us and stuff but aren't interested in anything to do with the gospel. But we've had lots of success with members and less actives. We went up to Three Rivers in the mountains to clip some goat hooves for a lady we've been teaching, and it was fun! I would grab and wrangle the goat between my legs while the lady, Ashni, clipped the hooves. It was fun until the goat got bored, looked up at you with a blank stare, and tried munching on your shirt. Later, we helped with the chickens, and I got pooped on, of course. I remember when I was younger in school, we went on a field trip to the OKC zoo and had a "zoo snooze." We stayed overnight, and it was hype!
